Films or any other material left at BCE Photolab are treated with the greatest care and attention whilst in our laboratory but in the unlikely event of loss or damage, however caused, liability is limited to the cost of an equivalent amount of unexposed film or digital media. Items deemed to be of higher value by their owners are not accepted.
By the act of placing an order with BCE Photo Lab the customer confirms that they hold the copyright of the images contained therein.
All orders dispatched by Royal Mail Standard Post are sent at the consignees risk and BCE Photo Lab accepts no responsibility for delay, damage or loss. Alternatively, upon payment of the appropriate surcharge, work can be sent by Royal Mail's 'Signed For' service (which includes up to £50 damage/loss compensation) or their 'Special Delivery' tracked - next working day service (which includes up to £500 damage/loss compensation).
Under the 'Distance Selling Regulations' if you change your mind for any reason you have the right to return perfectly good equipment for a refund of the purchase price and outgoing carriage charge within 14 days of receipt. Goods must be in resalable condition and returned well packed at your expense.
This cover does not apply to bespoke items such as scans from negatives, photographic prints etc, where products are custom made especially for you. Such items can only be returned if they are faulty. Should any goods be faulty or arrive damaged or not materially match the description on our website you may return them to us within a reasonable time. We will refund the purchase price along with the cost of the outgoing and return carriage charges.
